Ron Tupa, independent candidate for Congress, at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre

An independent voice for Congress

I’m running to represent the people’s interests — not political parties.

For Change

Now more than ever, we need leaders who are accountable to the people — not special interests.

Medicare For All

“I agree with the vast majority of registered voters who want a single-payer, national health insurance program to provide comprehensive health care coverage for everyone, free at the point of service.” — Ron Tupa

The insurance industry has contributed $40,000 towards Congresswoman Pettersen's re-election. She supports a privatized health insurance system that limits patient choice, increases costs, and extracts billions in profit each year.

No Corporate Money

Ron Tupa — Tupa ‘24
“I never took a dime from special interest PACs or gifts from lobbyists in my 14 years in the Colorado legislature.” — Ron Tupa
Ron Tupa's opponent
More than half of Congresswoman Pettersen’s campaign contributions have come from corporate and special interest PACs.

Ceasefire in Gaza

Ron Tupa — Tupa ‘24
“I agree with most likely voters that we need a permanent ceasefire and de-escalation of violence in Gaza. That is the best and fastest route to peace and security in the region.” — Ron Tupa
Ron Tupa's opponent
Pro-Israel lobbies contributed almost $50,000 to Congresswoman Pettersen’s election campaign in 2022. She has refused to call for a ceasefire or condition aid to Israel on a lasting peace plan.

See where I stand on the issues that matter most to you.

Against Lobbyists

I've never taken PAC money, so my grassroots campaign is funded by everyday people like you. Donate to my campaign and keep corporate interests out of politics.

Ron Tupa at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado

I’m a CU graduate and a former public school teacher. I was a Colorado state legislator affiliated with the Democratic Party for 14 years. But when I supported the views of my constituents against the party line, they removed me from leadership roles. I believe politicians should serve the people, not their party.
